Tribe Community Wellness provides programming for the community and a calendar of healthy fun events for all to participate in.

We want to build a Community focused on:

    • Personal Wellness

    • Fundraising for good causes

    • Connecting & having fun (shenanigans encouraged!).

Annual Cycle:

    • Measured outcomes (miles, $ raised)

Tribe Community Wellness (TCW) Free Community Fitness Program

TCW, founded by Cody Foss, together with Ian Hockley are providing a free wellness program! 

This community fitness program follows The Method Training Program which approaches wellness in a balanced and informative way.  The program is based on over 30 years of experience and the effectiveness of science and believes in the motivation of human connection as a driving force to achieve and sustain a healthier YOU.

In case there is any confusion, this is not an extreme competition! This program is about providing information, encouraging a change in habits and  a way for us to connect and be accountable to each other to improve our health and wellness.

This initiative, like other TCW programs, is designed with the intent to empower, educate, and motivate individuals and communities to achieve wellness.

This 6 week free inclusive program will provide a weekly Zoom call for all participants, a bi-weekly strength workout as well as nutritional and cardiovascular options and guidelines. 

How to join and “stay in” the program:

  • Fill out weekly workout and nutrition sheets and weigh in. There is no shame in not losing weight and weight is not the only measure of fitness, but you will be held accountable for recording activity and weighing in. We ask that you document your wellness activity so we can provide the correct advice and if you are struggling, provide resources and help. Your weight and weight loss numbers will not be shared with anyone - it will only contribute to a collective total so we can track how we do as a group. 

  • Choose a future Tribe Community Wellness Event from the TCW Calendar. The majority of these events are free. We don’t want this wellness challenge to be an isolated event, but rather a launching pad to a year round wellness initiative. It’s important to us to build a community connection with fitness. 

What you will receive:

  • Bi-Weekly Workout and Nutrition Log (Google Sheets and PDFs)

  • Weekly Group Zoom Meeting

  • Group support and encouragement

    2. Thursday April 20th @ 6-7pm - Onboarding Meeting (Q & A and Overview via Zoom) 

    3. Sunday April 23rd - Program sent to participants from TCW

    6. Sunday April 30th - Evening Cutoff for submission of wellness planner/nutrition

    8. Friday May 5th - 1st Mandatory Weigh In

  10. Sunday May 28th - Evening Cutoff for submission of wellness planner/nutrition

  11. Monday May 29th - Zoom Support Meeting

  12. Friday June 2nd - FINAL Mandatory Weigh In

  13. Finish Date - Friday June 2nd 

(Optional) June 3rd & 4th - Participate in the Fairfield 5k or Half Marathon - Register for the Fairfield Half Marathon & 5k
